My painting projects have taken a back seat as I work on my tattoo apprenticeship. I am currently 6 months into the program at Mystic Piercing / Tribal Tattoo in Crofton, Maryland. I work 20 hours a week as an apprentice and 20 hours as a shop manager.

Apprentice duties have me observing the tattoo artists, helping customers flush out their ideas, creating line drawings and color studies for artists, cleaning tubes and spaces, and anything else that needs to be done in the shop.
