I'm new to sculpture, but really enjoy it. I especially like clay and the process of translating my thoughts and emotions into it.

    Digital Art

Between college and work, I have put many hours into graphic design, digital illustration, and digital photo manipulation.

    You know... photos.

Like most artists, I use a variety of media to create my 2-Dimensional art, including oil, acrylic, gouache, and watercolor paints, pastels, charcoal, graphite, and ink. My subject matter ranges from common objects, to landscapes, to people, to feelings, moods, and events and I prefer to portray them utilizing cubist and expressionist techniques. Of particular interest to me is the human struggle for identification in a world of conflicting technology and spirituality.

I have recently begun creating 3-Dimensional art with a concentration in clay and wish I had been exposed to the medium decades ago. The process of translating emotions into clay is a powerful way to work through substantial, complex, and sometimes nebulous feelings.
